HOTEL DE SERS
a renewal between memory and modernity
For nearly two decades, the Hotel de Sers has elegantly embodied a private 19th-century residence, once the home of the Marquis de Sers. Today, this confidential address on the Champs-Élysées reinvents itself by drawing on its former spirit, that of a "traveler’s hotel": a place where one could sleep, of course, but more importantly, where one could experience Paris. The Hotel de Sers stands apart from the surrounding palaces by embracing its character as a unique, private residence. It offers its guests a journey that is both distinctly Parisian and resolutely contemporary.

THE VISION
of the project
Reinterpreted with precision by interior architect Pascal Allaman and owners Anne and Agathe Jousse, the five-star hotel reconnects with its origins while embracing a more contemporary vision of hospitality.
Together, the trio envisioned a decor that extends the soul of the place rather than transforming it. Curtains and furniture have sometimes been preserved, restored with a logic of subtle yet intentional sustainability. Everywhere, the shapes are soft, enveloping, inviting a sense of calm and comfort.
OUR
rooms & suites
The 45 rooms and 7 suites cultivate the idea of intimate, lived-in luxury, blending the spirit of the 1930s, a modern boudoir atmosphere, and nods to history. Light herringbone parquet, intricate woodwork, precious fabrics with distant patterns, and geometric rugs create a muted, contemporary, and timeless scenography. Nestled at the top of the hotel, three signature suites (the Eiffel Suite, the Panoramic Suite, and the Marquis Apartment) fully embody this new vision. Playful material contrasts between wenge wood and light oak, sculptural furniture, a harmony of soft tones, and views over the rooftops of Paris… Each room is unique and evokes the art of stationary travel.
THE PUBLIC
spaces
The living spaces further enhance this sense of grandeur and intimacy. The lobby opens onto a gallery of portraits that pay tribute to the Marquis' lineage, while the graphic rugs by Géraldine Prieur create a striking contrast between the mineral ambiance of the restaurant and the warm, sun-kissed tones of the bar. Beneath the glass roof of the lush courtyard, elegance is bathed in natural light, offering a refreshing touch of greenery in the heart of the 8th arrondissement. A dedicated wellness area, featuring a massage cabin, sauna and gym, perfects the experience.
