HÔTEL DE SERS REOPENS ITS DOORS: A NEW FIVE-STAR GEM IN THE HEART OF PARIS
Categories : Our Hotel, published on : 6/26/25
A new chapter on the Champs-Élysées: following a complete renovation, Hôtel de Sers unveils a renewed vision of its storied past. Once the private residence of the Marquis de Sers, this discreet address nestled in Paris’s prestigious 8th arrondissement gracefully reconnects with its aristocratic heritage while embracing a contemporary approach to hospitality.
Behind its understated Haussmann façade, the five-star Hôtel de Sers has been reimagined for today’s discerning travelers—a place to live as much as to stay. Designed as an intimate and luminous Parisian home, it sits just steps away from the Champs-Élysées and Avenue George V.
A REFINED RENOVATION
true to the spirit of the place
Imagined by interior architect Pascal Allaman in collaboration with Anne and Agathe Jousse, owners of the B Signature group, the renovation was carried out with a deep sense of respect and continuity. The original volumes have been preserved, while the hotel’s historical identity has been reinterpreted with precision and taste. Wood paneling, period drapes, custom-designed furnishings, and noble materials have all been redesigned within a philosophy of refined sustainability.
The atmosphere is soft, intimate, and timeless—a living tribute to the house’s history. The communal areas—lobby, restaurant, bar, and the plant-filled patio beneath a glass roof—embody the Parisian art de vivre, where intimacy meets sophistication.
47 ROOMS AND 7 SUITES:
the discreet luxury of a private mansion
The rooms and suites of Hôtel de Sers cultivate the art of Parisian luxury through a contemporary, warm, and timeless aesthetic. Every detail—from the herringbone oak floors to the rich Dedar and Nobilis fabrics—contributes to a deeply enveloping atmosphere.
More than half of the rooms open onto a private terrace, with some offering uninterrupted views of the Eiffel Tower—a rare privilege in Paris.
THREE EXCEPTIONAL SUITES
with views over Paris
L'Appartement du Marquis
Tucked away on the peaceful 7th floor, the Marquis’ Apartment spans 80 square meters and pays contemporary tribute to the grand reception suites of a bygone era. Designed as a refined family retreat, it can accommodate up to four guests and perfectly embodies the hotel’s new identity—a place steeped in history and quietly elegant.
A large 14-square-meter terrace extends the living space and offers a privileged view of the Eiffel Tower, rare and precious. Inside, integrated wall tapestries, iridescent beige curtains, a powder-pink velvet sofa, and floral-patterned cushions in coral, soft blue, and mustard create a luminous and layered ambiance.
Discreet golden touches subtly reference 19th-century aristocratic splendor, while the decorative objects—sculptures, busts, antique paintings, and classical armchairs—seem hand-picked from the Marquis de Sers’ own imagined collection. Wenge wood, velvet, brass, and Art Deco influences compose a restrained yet expressive style, filled with personality.
La Suite Eiffel
On the same floor, the Eiffel Suite (approx. 60 sqm) is a bold, elegant homage to the chic spirit of 1930s Paris. Light oak herringbone floors, a deep red leather headboard, and a custom wenge wood bookshelf-screen concealing the dressing area give this suite its distinctive character.
Dedar and Nobilis floral fabrics in shades of green and gray are paired with a camel-toned carpet and moss-green armchairs, creating a harmonious and understated palette. Sculptural brass and glass sconces add a touch of delicate light.
Two private terraces complete the experience: one adjoining the living room, the other the bathroom—both offering breathtaking views of the Eiffel Tower. A total immersion in Parisian elegance.
La Suite Panoramique
Perched on the 8th and top floor, the Panoramic Suite is a luminous cocoon suspended above the rooftops of Paris. Spread across 55 sqm, the suite features a glass-roofed living room, a 20 sqm private terrace, and sweeping panoramic views over the Eiffel Tower, the Invalides, and Sacré-Cœur.
Designed as a floating apartment, the suite pairs light oak with soft beige textiles, botanical-toned cushions, and a wall tapestry that resembles an art installation.
The open-plan bathroom is a showstopper: a central freestanding bathtub surrounded by Italian mosaics, veined white marble, golden brass fittings, a sculpted Corian sink, and a pendant light in alabaster. A timeless sanctuary for those seeking an extraordinary stay with a view of Paris.
